Dr. Rijo Jacob Thomas is a Faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala, India. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a post graduate in Industrial Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering. He did his doctorate in Cryogenics from Indian Institute Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, West Bengal, India. He also has an MBA in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, India. He has a number of international publications in renowned Elsevier journals such as Energy, Cryogenics, Fusion Engineering and Design, International Journal of Refrigeration as well as in ASME. He secured the 'Young Scientist Award 2013' constituted by Syrian Mar Thoma Church, Kerala, India. His papers have been presented in conferences held in different countries such as in Japan, USA, Germany and Poland. He is the reviewer for the international journal 'Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics'.
