The Campus Networking Centre takes care of all the network and system requirements in the
Campus. It provides internet and intranet facilities to all users in the institute. For the network
services, centre has the high end computational servers on which accounts are given to
students, staff and faculty of the departments. The campus has a Structured Network
Infrastructure and all networks are managed by UTM.
TKMCE has set up a new ultra high-speed networking across the campus with edge to edge Fiber Optic Backbone connectivity. Dlink DGS 3620 Core Switch with redundancy is used at the core layer. Dlink DGS 3120 L3 switches are used at distribution layer. Wireless connectivity is made available with the help of Ruijie RG-WS5302 Wireless Controller and Ruijie 320 Wireless Access Points at key positions to provide Internet access to the faculty and Students.
The SOPHOS XG-550 series of UTM is used to deliver integrated security and centralized authentication for users. Eight hardware-accelerated interfaces with 1 G and two 10G ports available for maximum throughput.

Internet Connectivity
WAN Connectivity to all the Campus is through 1 Gbps 1:1 leased line fiber-optic connectivity from BSNL.WI- FI ACCESS
TKMCE is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Registered users can access internet anywhere from the campus and Hostels. MAC filtering security is implemented to restrict un authorized usage of WiFi connectivity.Software
The TKMCE repository boasts of software that bridges the gap between the industry and college. Licensed Services from Microsoft, Matlab, STADPro, Solidworks, Ansys, Oracle, RedHat , Autocad, Orcad, ETAP, and OrCADare made available to the students and staffs to further enhance their skills. We have a good collection of licensed system and application software based on the latest technological innovations and requirements. We encourage students to learn more skills and become complete well rounded industry ready professionals.Servers
Intel Zeon based higher end servers are used to manage and maintain hosting and authentication purpose in the campus. Rack mounted servers and Tower type servers are used in CNC.Faculty in charge : Prof. Manu J Pillai
