Established in 1986, the Department of Computer Application is committed to delivering quality education and training students into industry to ready software engineers and developers.
With an alumni base that spans continents, the department has functioned admirably well in developing the skills of the students and in guiding them toward excellence. The placement records and high academic outputs of the students, hold testimony to the high standards of content delivery and exposure provided to the students of the department by our team of qualified and committed faculty members and supporting staff. Apart from the regular academic workload, the faculty members are also part of various academic bodies at university levels. The department often organizes short term training programmes in new and upcoming areas of computer science for students and faculty members alike. The department has in recent years achieved its long term goal of improving the research capacity and now produces its fair share of research publications each year.
