Laboratories
The Department of Computer science and Engineering encourages the students and researchers who have a passion for science and engineering by providing adequate computing facilities. The department presently has seven state-of-the- art research laboratories, viz. Computing Lab, OS and Networking Lab, Artificial Intelligence Lab, PG Lab , Image processing Lab , Research Lab and Software Systems Lab.
All the Laboratories are connected to the Institute network (1 Gbps 1:1) on optical fibre/Wi Fi and a Central UPS is made available to the entire department. Students are provided with individual work-spaces and a total of 363 computers and 24 workstations consisting of Intel i7, i5, and i3 processors.
The department regularly upgrades the computing facilities to stay abreast with the latest available technologies technologies
