Career guidance unit at TKMCE :

The Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) has been instrumental in supporting the career growth and campus recruitment of TKMCE graduates. Each year, prominent employers are invited to hold seminars and workshops focused on career development. Additionally, students are kept informed about evolving market trends and employability requirements through orientation sessions. CGPU mandates training for all students in areas such as personality development, CV writing, communication skills, aptitude tests, and interview techniques.

Procedure:

The placement process at CGPU is fully automated via a dedicated placement management portal. Final year students register on this portal to participate. Upon receiving recruitment requests from corporate firms and R&D organizations, CGPU sends them Online Job Notification forms, which the firms complete and submit. These completed forms are then made available to students, and CGPU schedules dates for Pre Placement Talks (PPT) and placement drives. An eligible student list is generated based on the job notifications. Firms visit the campus on their allotted dates to conduct placement drives and, upon completion, provide a final select list and feedback through the portal. CGPU then registers the job offers against the selected students upon receiving company confirmation
