Research

Department is committed in fostering research activities in emerging areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering. Our department is a research center at the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Well-equipped lab in VLSI, Microcontrollers, Antenna Design and Signal Processing is dedicated for the research purpose along with other laboratories. Ph.D. scholars are pursuing their research in the Department. Three faculty members are registered guides in University of Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Ten of our faculty members are continuing their research in various streams like VLSI Design, Image processing, Signal Processing, Optical Communication, Soft Computing, Gesture Identification, etc. Every year multiple numbers of papers are published in journals of International & National reputes as an outcome of ongoing research. Also the department is in the process of applying various research projects grants under various agencies like Department of Science & Technology, Kerala State Council for science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE) etc.
