Release of Civil Engineering Magazine – Keystone 6.0
With the untiring efforts of the students and faculty, the technical magazine “Keystone Volume 6” was launched by the Department in October 2024. Dr. K. Gopakumar, Principal, Mohandas College of Engineering & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (Former Professor and Head (Retd.), Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Former Dean Academics & IQAC Coordinator, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum) and Dr. B. Saraswathy, Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, TKM Institute of Technology, Karuvelil (Former Professor (Retd.), Department of Civil Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam) released the magazine, and handed over to Dr. Anu V. Thomas, Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering. Dr. Rekha Ambi (staff editor), Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering, and student representatives were also present in the occasion. The magazine had 9 relevant articles with contributions both from the faculty and the students, and an interview with Madhavikutty M. S., our distinguished alumnus who is in Indian Administration Service.
Release of Civil Engineering Magazine – Keystone 5.0
With the persistent efforts of the students and faculty, the technical magazine “Keystone Volume 5” was launched by the Department in 14 September 2023 on the eve of inauguration of Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) Student Chapter. The magazine had 15 relevant articles with contributions both from the faculty and the students. Dr. Anil Joseph, President of the Indian Geotechnical Society, for the term 2023-2024 and Managing director of Geostructurals Pvt. Ltd. Kochi released the magazine and handed over to Dr. T. A. Shahul Hameed, Principal. Dr. Amal Azad Sahib (Staff editor), Associate Professor in Civil Engineering, Dr. Sajeeb R., Professor in Civil Engineering and Vice Principal were present in the dais along with other dignitaries and student volunteers.
Release of Civil Engineering Magazine – Keystone 4.0
With the relentless efforts of the students and faculty, the technical magazine “Keystone Volume 4” was launched by the Department in 2021 amidst the difficult times of the Covid pandemic. The magazine had 15 relevant articles with contributions both from the faculty and the students. Dr. T. A. Shahul Hameed, Principal released the magazine, and handed over to Dr. M. Sirajuddin, Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering. Dr. Anu. V. Thomas (staff editor), Professor in Civil Engineering, Dr. Kavitha Madhu, Associate Professor in Civil Engineering and student representatives were also present in the occasion.
