Department of Civil Engineering is active in performing research in diverse disciplines of Civil Engineering. The Department is an approved research centre of University of Kerala from the year 2000 onwards and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. TKM College of Engineering is recognized as a Minor QIP Centre in the year 2012. Admission is offered to Ph.D Programmes in Civil Engineering branch with sanctioned number of seats. The total duration of the Ph.D Programme through QIP is 3 years.
